a fancy resort spot for the well to do - atop the sunny, the sandy river banks - swimming caps and suits blending into the dominant view - smiling faces, people bursting with joyfulness - deserted, left to scrape by - dust evaporating from the ground up
is controlled to aid to unveil the people - oil sprayed to ease the dust, oil sprayed to stifle - industrial waste leftovers taken from who knows where - sprayed continually to hold the creeping dust down - agent orange covered the earth - bubbling with a known carcinogen
after horses fell, qualms, questions began - city deemed, unlivable toxious soil - withdrawal required health to stabilize - houses were bulldozed and remains destroyed
